What is Islam?
Core Understanding of Islam
Islam is derived from the word salam, meaning Peace and submission to the Divine Creator.
One who willingly submits his or her will to Allah (God) is called a Muslim.
The Prophet Muhammad of Arabia (Peace be Upon him) is the final Messenger/Prophet of Allah sent to mankind to complete & perfect all monotheistic faiths as practiced by Adam, Moses, Abraham, Jesus and all the prophets in between.
Allah revealed his Holy Quran by Angel Gabriel upon the heart of the Prophet Muhammad as a beacon of guidance for all humanity.
